A duo consisting of Strings and Piano. The concert will feature music composed around folk music from the shores of Scandinavia to Scotland, a night of timeless travel with the most haunting of melodies. At the core of Claremont Ensemble is a deep felt wish to reduce the distance between performers and audiences, and to explore more conversational and inclusive performance styles, with the audience always at the heart of our concerts.

We invite you not only to get to know us personally as musicians during our concerts, but also to step into your own imagination and listen your own way; you will hear the familiar in different ways, and the new in exciting and inspiring ways. The musicians of the Claremont ensemble perform with a variety of orchestras and groups in the region, including the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra.
