The URC Quartet play regularly for Sunday worship. They have taken part in local concerts such as ‘First Thursday’ Poetry Evenings at Lingham’s Heswall. They have also recorded music for the URC National Sunday On-line Services.
Bob (oboe) is a General Practice Surveyor and as a youngster played with the Shropshire Youth Orchestra. He recently obtained a distinction in Musical Performance with the RSM. Helen (violin) is an architect. As a teenager she played violin with the East Berkshire Youth Orchestra. She now plays with the Wirral Symphony Orchestra.
Sally (flute) is a retired Counsellor and plays clarinet with the Wirral Community Orchestra.
Tony (keyboard) is a retired music teacher.
The concert will include a variety of musical styles – classical, ragtime and show songs.
