Don’t miss this opportunity to hear one of Mozart’s most well known and loved pieces – his stunningly beautiful Flute and Harp Concerto. This will form the centrepiece of the concert, given by 3 of the country’s leading musicians – Laura Jellicoe, flute, a former member of the RLPO; Marie Leenhardt, who hails from France and is Principal Harp with Manchester’s Halle orchestra; and Paul Janes, piano, who has recorded extensively for the BBC. Individually they have graced many of the world’s top concert halls including in Berlin, Paris, London, Japan, and Australia, and tonight they are very excited to be playing together in Parkgate amongst friends.
The programme will include a variety of solos and duos, with music ranging from Bach to De-bussy to name a couple, and there will even be an exploration of the workings of the modern harp!
