Formed in 1975, Côr Meibion Y Fflint (Flint Male Voice Choir), is recognised as one of the leading male choirs in North and Mid Wales. Itself a Registered Charity, in that time, the choir has helped to raise an estimated £300,000+ for both local and national charitable
organisations.
The choir has won several prestigious competitions and have travelled widely in Europe and have appeared at many notable venues, including the Royal Albert Hall, the Principality Stadium, and the Millenium Dome (now O2 arena).
In addition, they have made a number of TV/film appearances including ‘The Choir, the
Passion and the Song’, the factual documentary film ‘Reg’ and the opening sequence to the BBC coverage of a Six Nations Rugby International, which was filmed at Flint Castle.
