Neston Royal British Legion

This dynamic Big Band is led by local Trumpet player Mark White. It is a 17 piece band and features both male and female vocalists drawing on some of the finest Big Band players in the NorthWest.

The band is now a permanent fixture as part of the Neston Music Festival and its concerts have regularly sold out.

The band specialises in the best that Big band has to offer playing the music of Glen Miller, Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Frank Sinatra, the Rat Pack, Michael Buble and many more. The band’s featured vocalists are Andy Bayley and Laura Steventon. Andy specialises in the Rat pack hits and in particular Frank Sinatra as well as more contemporary singers like Harry Connick Jnr and Michael Buble. Laura has been with the band since its inception and she brings her beautiful singing style shaped by her experience in Operatic and Dance Band.

Friday 13th May at the Neston British Legion promises to be another great night featuring a wide and varied programme of Big Band classics. There will also be room for dancing!!!
